Tamara Gold, beauty & style consultant, is the Founder of Tamara Gold Enterprises , a company dedicated to inspiring women to see the beauty within themselves, their lives and their businesses. She’s known as The Red Lipstick Reporter and created The Red Lipstick Report e-zine to answer the many questions she’d get from people about how to look and feel their best… What to wear, how to develop their own style, and of course, the all time two biggest questions, “How do I get rid of dark circles?” and “How do I put on false eyelashes?” The RLR e-zine features Spotlight Interviews with Industry Experts, How-To Videos, Style Secrets, Fashion Finds, Beauty Basics, Image and Branding tips and more. She’s the creator of Your Stand Out Style Experiences, and Your Signature Stand Out Style Private Consulting.
A seasoned Hollywood makeup artist, stylist and writer, storyteller, Tamara began using her artistic skills at an the early age 14, in the kitchen of her family home in Chicago. She would mix a spoonful of Vaseline, the remnants of her mothers worn lipsticks, a drop of mint extract and then melt them in the microwave, creating little gifts for friends. She headed to the University of Arizona to study Nutrition, where she once again found herself picking out outfits and brushing on lipstick for friends going to college events. Before she knew it, she was working with photographers, on fashion catalogs and began traveling across the country, teaching models and talent, “How to Get the Look that Sells.” A move to Los Angeles opened many doors, in the commercial, film and television world.
In working with clients for more than 25 years, including Hollywood’s Elite, Actors, Actresses, Sports Stars, Musicians, Politicians, Newscasters, and many Iconic Celebrities, Tamara insists anyone can be a star….A celebrity in their own industry. “I’m a stylist because I was encouraged to express my art by using clothing, makeup, curling irons, and hairspray as my medium. I was fortunate to work in an environment with the most talented artists and image makers. I saw how it was all done and how anyone can polish the gold within and shine brilliantly.”
Using her intuition to guide her in creating authentic images and beauty for others, she discovered the deep spiritual connection between self-love and self-acceptance. “Our style, the way we dress, and how we show up in the world is a reflection of what we believe on the inside about who we are. We can artistically express our authenticity through our image and style. Unfortunately, most people ignore or are unable to embrace their own beauty. They concentrate on their faults and not the positive aspects about themselves. Everyone is beautiful. It’s all about learning how to be the “best” you, in each moment. And, I’m not talking about perfection.”
